TANA’s mobile disc screens are capable of screening almost any material, and they are particularly good for waste processing. Applications for disc screens are almost limitless.

TANA’s mobile disc screens use a patented Ecostar anti-clogging system which enables trouble-free screening of difficult materials without the wrapping and plugging that would quickly clog and blind conventional screening equipment.

 

Easily movable machinery with low operating cost

Thus highly mobile, light machinery can provide up to three screened sizes. Adjustments are made by changing the shaft rotation speed and machine inclination. Since conveying the material is not based on gravity or vibration, the device capacity is high and screening is efficient. However, high efficiency and capacity do not mean high power or high fuel consumption. The screen has very low operating costs; therefore, the cost per processed waste ton remains low, which means more profit for the bottom line.

The mobile unit is interchangeable between track driven and hook-lift modes.

 

High capacity in a compact space

Although it is light and movable, the TANA mobile disc screen has a 10× better capacity compared to a traditional drum screen solution, and it fits in 6–9 feet of space instead of the 16–19 feet required for equivalent drum screen. The service and maintenance costs of this new disc screen are much lower compared to a star screen, for instance. Due to small space requirement, TANA disc screen is also a good choice when using a fixed setup of machinery in the process.
